 THE POLITICIAN

The politician starts off with the lead character Payton Hobart a rich, white, adopted, and highly ambitious high schooler who sees himself as the President of the United States. He has immense support from his mother Georgina played by Gwenyth Paltrow, his 2 best friends( James and McAfee), and his girlfriend Alice. 

The first season runs around him trying to win the school presidency along with his running mate Infinity Jackson ( Zoey Deutch), a cancer patient with secrets. The series has quite a lot of twists and turns making you sit on the edge with clever political ploys and musicals cause why not !!!

 I highly recommend you to watch this as it has only 2 seasons with only 8 and 7 episodes in it and the actors have done an amazing job. It talks about strong topics like racism, feminism, and climate change in the second season. There are no negative or positive characters in this series, there are just characters and you will like all of them.
